Snorkel and co2 levels

It says that the snorkel also allowed fresh air into the boat as well as allow the diesels to be run. has anyone figured out how to mod this? because my co2 levels rise when I'm running with the snorkel

That's really odd. I just ran a career two weeks ago with an IXB, late '44. I developed a reasonably-survivable way out of Biskay ::grins:: by running submerged the entire time at 2kts. Mid-day I'd pop the snorkel up only long enough to replenish my air supply, and in the mid of night I'd raise it to recharge my batteries and refresh my air again. So I'm not sure why you're having trouble getting your air to refresh with the snorkel up. Sorry. :-?

IIRC there's a bug in stock regarding the snorkel and CO2, fixed in GWX tho.

SH3 patched to 1.4b shouldn't have this issue anymore... they fixed it in one of the patch downloads...

In real life some boats stay 30 or more days without surface.

but there are a lot of problems with health and machinery breakdowns.

I'd like to. Iam realism freak, yet iam on dialup. Ive got a 26.4bps and a download speed of 2.*bps. :(
Iam still simmimg WAC 1.6. I took out the mines around England that caused the crashes.
