Ahoy Kauliens :D

I'm in my VII B just East of Aberdeen November 1939, and a Task Force has set out from Firth of Forth heading NNE (towards me  ) I've obviously saved and intercepted this "Task Force " and found it more suited to "Battle Group" Its got HMS Rodney 4x Southhampton class Cruisers,4x J+K destroyers, 4x ??? destroyers, + 4x Tribal class destroyers

Now having attacked and come away with HMS Rodney, 1 Southampton Class, + 2x Tribal as kills, and actually going on to complete patrol (but went back to "intercept save" so I could replay). I would really like some way of saving this intercept as a "Single Mission"

Is there an easy way to save the scenario as a single mission or am I fated to "Start" (only on 2nd patrol) another career, so I can load this save as the start of a "Single" to be saved on escaping from Task Force and restarted at previous save ?

Help much appreciated

You could use a walkaround:
1. Save in the desired moment.
2. Exit game.
3. Go to you "My Documents/SH3" folder and do a safe-copy of your data folder.
4. Feel free to continue playing.
5. Any time you wish to go back to this safe-point, do a safe copy of your CURRENT data folder, replace it with the previous one, play, whatever, and then restore the "normal" data folder to cintinue your career.

That is correct. You can't read the saved game file, so you can't get the necessary information from it to make a mission in the mission editor. The only way is as Abd_von_Mumit described.
Of course, you can go the the mission editor and make up any mission you desire, with all these elements in it.

Thankyou guys :D

I'll do that......At the moment, I'm loading "intercept" save and literally commiting suicide if my attack doesn't go to plan

Much as I enjoy this scenario........Theres a War on
