I need some help please

I installed SH3 and GWX 2.0
then I copied the date file from the
u-Boat 1.2 for GWX 2.0 straight in to the
SH3 directory overwriting the date file inside
SH3 and it all worked no problems at all so I was running
SH3-GWX 2.1 and u.Boat 1.2 all together
But then a uninstalled SH3 and deleted the saved games
And reinstalled everything the way I did before and it did
Not work so I uninstalled everything again and reinstalled
It this time I used JSGME to install u-Boat 1.2 for GWX 2.0
Rather than have to uninstall everything again but it still will

The way I did the first time when it was working and no luck
I just can not get SH3-GWX 2.1 and U-Boat 1.2
To work together anyone got any ideas HELP :damn::damn::damn:

I had the same proble. I would crash when I started my career but noticed I could still go to the academy. I went to mu documents and deleted the SHIII file and started a new career. Everything was back to normal.

My one starts to load I get the blue screen
With the picture of the sub and the
Red loading line but when the red line gets
To the end it crashes back to disk top
Every time I have uninstalled the game
Deleted the saved games and gone
Through my registry and deleted anything
To do with silent hunter 3 and done a new
Install and it still will not work I give up

Blue screen definitely sounds not normal and I don't believe that is a problem with the installation of SH3. I would believe there is some conflict with other programs on your computer. Have you tried stopping all processes that you don't need and uninstall all unnecessary software?

If all fails, a windows reinstall often works miracles...

I'm affraid KING111 didn't mean THAT blue screen of death you are referring to. :)

KING111: What are your machine specs? Does it meet the minimal requirements? What's your RAM and processor? I've learned that such problems rise often because f too low PC's characteristics.

Oh I'm sorry, I read too fast :oops:

Conflicting drivers/software is always an option, though. But if it worked before and you did not install anything but sh3 related software, this shouldnt be it.

The blue screen I am on about is not the
Blue screen of death if I had that I would
Reinstall XP
No the blue screen is the loading screen with
The picture of the sub on it that you have with
u-Boat 1.2 and the red line is the loading line
when it gets to the end the game crashes back to
desktop
