Yo Brag,
Finally got some time away from movie locations to read the book. Must say that it was an outstanding story. You did a great job on keeping my interest on the story. It was an easy read, and kept me wanting to turn the next page.
Can't wait for the next book with the sub in it.

Congrats on a great book my friend, I'll show it to some Hollyweed people, but I don't think they'll take much stock from a movie job cop.........

This morning, both, paperback and Kindle editions of Kingmaker made the number one spot in the espionage thriller category on Amazon!

To those of you who have bought the book and spread the word, I am deeply grateful for your support.

Has your publisher mentioned wether or not a German translation is considered? Yes, I could read it in English, but as long as it is not urgent, or any special interest theme of mine, I prefer german language, naturally.

Ouh, and congrats! I assume this ranking will help you to convince your publisher to publish your next book as well!? :)

Danke, Skybird!

It's too early to talk translation. The book is still in the take off stage. Only a few stores have it on their shelves, the press has not woken up to it. But the word been slowly spreading through little reading groups where everyone buys the same book and they discuss it. One online book seller has placed Kingmaker at the head of the mystery section. If the book manages to stay in the #1 spot for some time it will then come to the traditional booksellers' and the public's attention.

For the moment, we are still in the :damn: stage. :D

I’ve known Alexey for many years and am well aware that he knows his way around many of the more remote and exotic locales. I found his Kingmaker an extraordinarily fast-paced and suspenseful read especially when you realize this is his first time out. Trager establishes a strong enough presence to merit a sequel ideally with a few of the truly exotic characters Alexey introduces in this story. Alexey has a good feel for the telling one-liner and Trager’s out-of-the-box getaways put Indiana Jones to shame. I’m looking forward to the next one.

I just discovered that if you wanted to get Kingmaker on Amazon all it would show is the Kingmaker Kindle (electronic edition) without any lead to the print edition. This is not only through the Sumsim portal but everywhere :shifty:

So if you want to order it, you must type: Kingmaker Braguine paperback. This will take you to the book.

Thanks to all of you who have ordered the book. I'm always happy to hear from readers either via PM or on the forum. :D

Not normally being a fan of this type of novel, consider it high praise when I say that it truly is a diamond in the rough.

Suspense, action, humor, and plot twists are masterfully brought together by Braguine's witty writing style. I doubt anyone could read this book without stirring their sense of adventure.

Read but the first chapter, and you will find it very hard to put down :D
