video on the author (accept 30 sec. of commercial first :( )

A powerhungry psychotic sectarian who has made himself believing he only means it well - that's all he is.
He seems to have talked Will Smith into his madness as well. Another reason why I will not watch "I am legend" at the movies.

I'm sure they are working to bring out his latest coments, but haven't had a chance to do a full translation!

I haven't seen one of his movies since I was forced to watch one on an airline flight not too long ago. Saw Mission Impossible 3 or something. Wasn't that great. I think I like the first one better.
Was tempted to watch The War of the Worlds, since I'm a bit fan of J. Verne, but I know T. Cruise will screw it up so I didn't bother.

He's a great actor indeed, and fully believes in his role. Especially his role to be master of all fate and men on earth. there are brief terms for it: megalomania, or messiah-syndrome. In the end it means the same: a deeply sick mind. Clever, but sick.

Thats not acting he believes hes right when he talks about his Scientology it aint an act. He acts only on the big screen, I would give him some credit as an actor, - War of the Worlds, Collateral, Young Guns to name a few. But he gets an F minus for trying to grab more believers to his movement! :)
IMO, Collateral is his best movie. Was positively surprised, never liked Cruise too much.

No mate, H.G. Wells wrote War of the Worlds, not Jules Verne.
Good book.
So So film,
Tim Robbins' part was the best bit, very well done.
Try listening to Jeff Waynes audio version as well, narrated by Richard Burton.
Cruise's best film IMO was Collateral.
Hope Tom's near if I'm ever in trouble, only he can save me.

Yes, maybe we should sent him with the frontline troops in Afghanistan and Iraq as well. He will save them all, holy superman that he is.

Yep, you are right. I got my authors mixed up. And yes, as a kid I read the War of the Worlds and I enjoyed it. That is why I think Cruise would mess up my memories of it.

I live near Clearwater, Florida which is the headquarters for Scientology.
All I know is this. I had sex with a scientologist once and she was damn good in bed.

I dated a Scientologist once. Never slept with her, but she was... interesting. Of course, she dumped me when I said that psychologists weren't drug dealers, and were legitimate professionals.
All she had to say was something about the drugs they give you being no better then heroin. Something like that:hmm:
Needless to say, I'm glad she did dump me :D

He (cruise) has ruined all of his movies for me. All I sse is him (TC) jumping up and down on Oprah's couch. You lost me there.
I'm just waiting for all of them to receive the message from outer space to commit mass suicide to return to the mother ship!

Well i can better that, we use to have a professional call girl in our neighbourhood and she lived right next to me :rock:No seriously very attractive but never did it enter my mind to go jump her :). No way man temptation was there at times :p Yet going out with a call girl would of left me with a guilt trip for the rest of my life, plus this aids going around etc., no thankyou. Even if i would i wouldn't of been able to afford her $1000-2000 a night depending on extras so im told :o. Neighbours signed a petition where before it went to court she got the message and left. I talked to her a few times very nice well mannered lady mid 30s attractive as hell! nice body oh man if i could name her after a car she was the 'Boss Mastang! :yep:

Kiwi you mentioned that I remember, shame the neighbours wanted her out. I fi she was discreet about her business and no pimps or junkies involved what's the big deal?
Any back OT. I wonder when VB and DB become one of them...he will never play for England ever again.

A popular German historian who is wellknown over here for having created many WWII docus for TV compared the Cruise video to Goebbels, saying that the way in which he speaks and uses rethorics to make the audience applaud when demanding the global leading role role for Scientology must remind every German of the speeches of Goebbels.
I totally agree and think he is right: I compared that video to the propaganda style of the Nazis immediately - it jumped into my mind all by itself, to be precise.
