so... I encounter a convoy in a dead calm night and maneuver into the lanes at periscope depth. As I'm peering through the scope at tons of small merchants and suddenly there it is... A massive carrier dead ahead at less than 1000 m.
I gave him a spread of 4 ALL impacted and she began to sink... As I began to execute my exit strategy...
... I woke up, it was all a dream!!!
Now THATS sad!!!

I swear. Carriers seem to be the most agile boats I've ever fired at. If I shoot a steamer at them, even at night and at close range, they always spot the bubble trail and dodge it !:damn:
You have no clue how many times I've gotten within 1000 meters of a carrier only to fire and have it nimbly maneuver out of the way. I even had a couple times when one only had 40 secconds to react and the darn thing steered around the thing !!!:damn:
Hmmm.....you know...I thought I was crazy...
my carrier would have turned into the Bismark and I would have woken up in front of a firing squad...
:smug:
Eat less cheese while playing SH3 before bed, perhaps? :hmm:

I think it's kind of sad when you dream about a computer game. :) I had a period that I woke up in panic sweating, because I thought I heard asdic. I swear it's true!
I haven't touched the game for a month now, so I'm living quite a normal life again.

I had a dream; I was on a carrier and I saw a spread of four torpedos coming straight for the ship.......there was a huge explosion and I was jolted from my sleep :o
Na just joking..............:D
Just the other morning my wife said i softly screamed "Alaaaaaarm" in my sleep that night.

The other night after a session of SHIII GWX2.0, I got into the mood to do some more work on Revells 1/72nd scale U-Boat, which I`m building. As a young man I worked for awhile building, and repairing river barges, and tugs. That night I dreamed about working on that U-Boats pressure hull. LOL. Still looking for that paycheck.

This is good, because I now know it is not just me going quietly nuts.
We should set up an SH3 home for the nautically bewildered!
