Confused about difficulty/realism settings

I like to play with all realism options checked except "no external cam" (I need the eye candy).

So I finally got to starting a career and it gives me the choices of "difficulty" which seem in effect to adjust the realism settings in "Options." Well, I can't seem to replicate the settings I like. Am I missing something here? I have no problem restarting my career if thats any help . . .

If your playing withouth rsdr when you are in your office there should be a radio by the selves on the rigth and you can change settings.

if you are using rsrd then the radio dissapears (as far as i know)

and there is a manual way of configuring just give me a sec to write it down

go to you main silent hunter installation

open the DATA folder, then open the CFG folder and then open the Gameplaysettings CFG

D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Cfg\GameplaySettings

open it with notepad

and change your original cfg and tweak it as shown below
(the lines highlighted in yellow are the one that you should change)
