In GWX 1.3, I always got the message that my base was changed to Kiel, but they were empty words. I always remained in the base that I had chosen. Now, since I went to 2.0, these threats aren't empty anymore. I am ALWAYS returned to Kiel, even when I successfully apply for a transfer. Seems like a WWII-era "Groundhog Day" movie.

Are you playing with a career imported from a previous version of the game? Usually this is the reason for these messages.

No, I started a new career. I had a clean and patched version of SHIII on my hard drive. I simply copied it and followed instructions for 2.0, which included deleting the SH3 file where previous careers were filed. So now I either wind up off the coast of Africa when I request a change to St. Nazaire or Wilhemshaven (where the lat and longitude numbers are all zeros) or I get the Kiel message and wind up in Kiel. Tough commute from Kiel.....

I am starting to think I need to uninstall and reinstall from the SH3 disk (ugh!) and, oh, I don't want to think about it.....
