I have seen a documentary on the history channel and some other articles floating around the web. Do any of you think the NWO exists? Post your reasons why or why not if you would like.

yep.. it resides in the middle east , right underneath lebanon, beside syria, and they get lots and lots of money and weapons from the U.S... care to guess?? :hmm::roll:
First of all, what does "NWO" mean? There always has been an order in the world, changes every so often, it's called the march of history.

I saw one thing about GWB signing a north american union treaty, and he didn't even bother to ask congress or the people. Can anyone elaborate?
No seriously, can you elaborate on what you think the NWO is??

there are "things" in this world that the average person cannot... and doesn't need to understand... Sometimes we are destined for the knowledge, other times its thrust upon us.
Other than that... you need these guys

I really am undecided Joe. People say many things, like a secret organization that is set on world domination, etc.
The above was for answering elite's question.

Yes, there are those "things" out there. Everyone knows something that others don't need to understand, or sometimes just can't understand.
I am not the average joe penelope ;)
Of course there's a new world order. I mean, really, I can't imagine a world without one. And it's pretty big too. Millions of members. This organization began around 1775, and after some preparation finally submitted a declaration of their will to the world. Of course this upset a lot of people, and many europeans came to smash this new order, but they failed, and by 1789 this new order was firmly established. It drove across a continent to expand it's power, however it was until WWI that the world recognized a new world order had arisen. However, upon seeing the filthy europeans they could not stand their lunacy and went into exile. But once those crazy europeans were at it again, this new world order realized that they must control the world. With military domination a complete failure, the leaders of the NWO realized that they must economically and culturally bring about a successful integration of the New World Order. This allowed them to develop military outposts around the world, and while the armies of Europe atrophy, one stood firm, only to collapse in the face of the most powerful weapon ever seen in this world; a greenback. The power of the NWO was complete. However recently they have lost sight of their goals and are slowly fading.
This is the NWO. I may be assassinated by their 'Homeland Security' forces for revealing this information to you all.

Problem is - many people will see different things being the new world order. without doubt, there was a new one after WWII. but wishing to say something like that for the time after 1989 is more difficult. what was it, this new world order after 1989? China's rise? asias rise? The beginning of an American century? Islamic global offensive? America's slow downfall? Europe's downfall? Chaos in Russia, leading to new strength? Globalization - a win, or a loss? Globalization costed those countries dearly who had strong economies and stable currencies - they are the one who lost most by what they propagated themselves the loudest.
All these things, althoug sometimes they seem to contradict each other, nevertheless characterize this new world order, and so I would prefer to speak of a new world disorder. Things haven't become more stable, but more instable. They turn to become more critical, not more relaxed. The place becomes too crowded. There is too few things for too many people.
In the end, we only can see that history still is what it always has been: that things are constantly changing, sometimes faster, sometimes slower. Only when they chnage slowly, we sometimkes are tempted to think of such phases as "stability". But nevertheless they are still changing - only more slowly than usual.
If there is a new world order, than it is characterized by this: more confrontation, more colliding interests, more conflict, and the old ways not being valid anymore.

The concept of the NWO was used in the late 1980s and early 1990s and was supposed to explain the world in a post-Cold War setting without the USSR and US locked in a Cold War fighting against one another for influence in the "third world" where the US and its allies dominated the world's politics.
And latter on this thread Alex Jone's will tell you all about New World Order.
Hang on folks he's to busy, try You Tube.

I think the new world order is just the realisation of Pinky and the Brains dream...to rule the world! lol :rotfl:
On a more serious note, I don't know if the NWO exists. There are some things that the average Joe just won't be revealed in our life times. With so must instability in the world today, I highly doubt the existance of one great "elite" leadership, if there were surely they would have created a stable world through cooperation and greed for power? Or has the NWO split and start to destroy itself from within? Who knows! There certainly are some unsual "coincidences" that have happened now and then...but lets be fair...its not unusual for politicians to be making deals away from the ears of others. If there is a NWO...I'm sure that there will be a time, most likely in the not to distant future, where we will suddenly realise how we've been lulled into solidifying the position of this "new world order".

Pinky and the Brain
They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius, the other's insane
They're laboratory mice
Their genes have been spliced
They're dinky
They're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain,
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Before each night is done
Their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the sun
They'll take over the world
They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign
Is easy to explain
To prove their mousey worth
They'll overthrow the Earth
They're dinky.
They're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain,
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, NARF!

Steed, that's classic! Come on home - all is forgiven.
Of course I voted 'Undecided', but that was before I read THIS:

This sounds intriguing. Is there some material benefit to joining the NWO or is it like my barrel of Iraqi oil i never got in that whole War for Oil thang?

OMG...Hulk Hogan as a bad guy...he crushed quite a few hearts with that. Now look at him, facing divorce and his soon-to-be ex-wife will reap the benefits of the resurgance of American Gladiators.
