:rock:Will do!
I have one question for you both (and anyone else interested) - would you prefer the original files as in my sig, or would you prefer me to split them and make the "date" folders with one in each ready to just drop into your SH3C C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Date folder?
It would be easier for you guys if I did that I am guessing but it involves joining those reports with the same date (or faking a day before/after if it is a quiet month and it doesn't matter historically) and then rar/7zip-ing them so would take a little while longer...
I will get on it tonight after work either way :salute:
EDIT: Woohoo, I made Seaman at last!
Commander format would be best then people have the choice to take them out if they want plus it'll save me the bother of sorting them in Commander format because I'm a lazy bugga at times.

This is a good thing. Downloading now, and thanks for the work.
We all grow up sometime. :O:
Well, we all grow greyer at any rate *points at self* :haha:

Yeah, I would be the same too so I started this morning before work and I will do the rest tonight and get them uploaded - will post links here when I am done. I toyed with the idea of trying to make a JSGME enabled mod but that would require more reading than I have time for at the moment :salute:

JSGME mods are really quite simple to create...it is simply a case of getting the file heirarchy correct.
Click on my FF account (link above my sig) and download one of my small mods...All Weather Guns for example....you'll easily suss the format out believe me.

Hmmm, looks fairly straight forward like you said Jim - only thing is if I read it right it would require a separate JSGME installed in the SH3C program files folder in order to "mod" the dated folders into that program rather than into SH3 game folder.
For now I will keep it simple and just upload rar/7z files which can simply be unzipped straight into the SH3C date folder in their entirety until I get chance to play a bit more and work it out

Once I get the whole lot sorted out into dated folders (just about finishing 1940.....:o) I will probably play at setting it up for JSGME and then when I am happy it works at this end I will ask a few kind souls to test it out for me.
Cheers for the pointers, and a special thanks to Jaesen Jones for being so darn clever and writing such superb software :|\\
EDIT: Sorry it is taking so long, I realised I had messed up the file structure on the ones I did this morning before work (what can I say, half asleep...) so have had to go back and check every one :88)

You might not be a big fan of this, but I actually embed Commander inside the SH3 folder so I can utilize the same JSGME for both. As discussed previously in another thread, the manual indicates you can install Commander "anywhere" and I've never encountered any issues with the configuration.
That being said, whatever works for you is great...
Thanks again for taking the time to get these clips organized and uploaded. Much appreciation! :yeah:

:damn: now he tells me LOL.
Not sure I have time to play with it now though, finally finished the 1939-40 files, just gotta upload them and then I can post you the link.
EDIT: Hope you don't mind but I used 7zip this time as it is much better at compression (and it's free!), I have pruned out mostly junk or very short clips, I have "fiddled" the date for some undated radio broadcasts so they fill large gaps in the dates, some mp3 have been joined to make one file but not many...oh, and anything that was in SH3C in terms of Menu folders etc. I have left well alone so I should not have broken anything *crosses fingers*
2nd EDIT: I am off to bed but 1939 in SH3C format is up (same link in my sig) and the 1940 is uploading now, should be done in 10 mins or so...it is 100mb compared to only 18mb for 1939. Night all
Here are approximately 365 tunes (in eleven links, as fast as I can get them uploaded) from my gramaphone folder.
There is a mix of English and German music of the war period as well as some classical and movie music which I believe match the mood of a sub simulation.
All are in ogg.vorbis format so they should play nicely in-game.
I have not made this a JSGME package because much of the content is probably already out there.
As I stated earlier, this is just some of the music from my gramaphone folder in the GWX2.1 version of the game I am currently playing.
I believe it is just as easy to unpack the files and listen separately (from the folder they unpack into), then decide which ones, if any, you would like to keep/use (cut and paste them individually).
The tracks should be put into the:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWX 2\data\Sound\Gramaphone folder.
If you want to listen to them first and experience difficulties, I can recommend a free downloadable media player which is IMO far superior to Windows Media Player. VLC Media Player.

I know this is a very late reply, I just came accross this post,
the links are dead, and you sparked my curiosity with "match the mood of a sub simulation"
Do you think you could reupload it? Maybe on mega, or mediafire or even a torrent?
:salute:
