After silent detection of the site for quite a long time and deciding that it is by far the most brilliantly targeted community for all naval warfare sims, i am glad to join.
I am from Greece (the county that first operated a sub in war EVER), I ejoy daily silent hunter III and Dangerous Waters! The second is also my Occupation, I am an officer of the Greek Navy. I also participate to the biggest Greek subsim community www.greekopforces.gr (http://www.greekopforces.gr) Thank you for having me on board.

Welcome aboard, Kaleu harpoon! :ahoy:

I hope you will have as much fun here as I have had as a recent recruit into the community. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in the U-bootwaffe here.

You've made an excellent choice by getting to know this group.

I'm sorry, I thought this one would need no translation in WW2 circles. It was the sentence that Guderian is supposed to have coined and it is hard to translate directly but what he meant was "always attack in big strength". Has nothing to do with kotzen (puke) btw.

Exactly!

HDW says the boat is ok, Greek Navy says it has issues and refuses to pay and to take over the boat. IIRC there is silence between both parties right now. Don`t know if the construction of the other 3 boats in Greece is continued at the moment. South Korea has no problems with its class 214 boats so the situation is somewhat mysterious.

I also believe it is a very good link to be read.
As long as all skipers here understand that opinions are relative to location...
So read it starting by the location of the member posting each post.
By the way thanks for all welcomes and hugs / I do mean business and that is why I am honoured to be in such a fine company!

Okay, okay...if everybody is done welcoming the new guy aboard, in case you haven't noticed, there are still decks to be swabbed, torpedoes to be loaded, paint to be chipped and heads to be cleaned!

Everybody grab a tool and GET BACK TO WORK!!!:hulk:

Oh, and harpoon, WELCOME ABOARD!:sunny:
