Graphics Drivers

Hoping one of you knowledgable folks can help me.

I'm getting a blue screen of death in Convoy battles on GWX2. It seems to be once I've fired torpodos and I suspect my outdated graphics drivers are to blame. I've tried to update them and follwed ATI's instructions. When i try to run SH3 after updating them I get the message "Cannot start 3D engine".

Has anyone else had a problem like this? GPU is a Radeon 9500.

I´ve a Radeon 9550 here.

Got the same problem with initializing 3D-engine.

Try the following:

- de-install graphics driver completly. Use tool "Driver cleaner" after normal deinstall-routine

- get the latest DirectX from Microsoft - install it

- install latest graphics driver from ATI http://www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com/) or
- use the ATI Omega drivers http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Important is to first install DirectX!
