Thanks + Carrier??

Hi All,

Firstly - Thanks to the GWX team - great work and much appreciated.:up:

Played stock SHIII - good game but I lost interest unfortunately. The GWX2.0 mod has made this game come alive again - its fantastic! Thanks for all the hard work - can`t praise the GWX team enough!

Got sunk by a "bathtub" dropping DC`s on my first GWX career.....
Learnt my lesson since then and avoid shallow water now.....

I am in the middle of the Atlantic in 1942 and have been buzzed by an aircraft....
Does this mean a Carrier is nearby as I`m way beyond the range of land based aircraft??

Check your drop down map from top left corner it shows the extent of aircraft coverage. I can't remember if they were there in '42 but I've seen towards the end of the war you get escort carriers in the middle of convoy's.

Depends on the aircraft

Swordfish\Avengers you will only find on UK carriers
Martletts to but they are also on a land base

Avengers\Wildcats on US carriers with Avengers also on a land base

If its a Hurricane then you could be within range of a CAM ship
