All depends on how old your version is. There is a re-released version (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=733538&postcount=12) which certainly works fine with my x64 version of Vista (the old version I have doesn't). You can tell the new version, it doesn't include a printed manual or map and is already patched to 1.4b.
