Just bought BBC´s "The Battle for the Atlantic"

Hi

I just bought BBC´s "The Battle of the Atlantic" .
So far I just watched the first disc out of three but what a great
documentary.

The first episode is called " The Grey Wolfs 1939-1941".
It´s so interesting to see and hear live witneses from the u-boats.
Hear sailors from the merchants who survived telling about how they where drifting at sea several days and even weeks in the Atlantic.
The terror of being a sailor on a tanker.

it is only one DVD I see you have a 3 DVD box so what are the names of the
DVD and where did you buy this box ?

It is certainly the best U-boot documentairy I have seen. But you can expect that from the BBC who are top documentary producers.

Back in the mid 1970's the BBC did a brilliant series called The Secret War all about the scientific war and one episode was about the Battle of the Atlantic, unfortunately never released on DVD as of to date but was released on VHS tape and the whole series is well worth getting hold of if you can.

There is some good news you can still buy the book.
