Okay, here's one of the nice things that can come about from making 'machinima' movies. Some of you might remember me posting this one a while back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aNdogtx1_U
Now, fast forward to today, and I get a PM on youtube from a relative of the pilot this film was about (Colin Pinckney), who it turns out is in the process of researching the history of his relative. As such, because I have some pieces of the Spitfire in question, which were excavated some years ago, and did a lot of research into Pinckney's exploits, I was able to fill in some of the gaps in the chap's research about his relative. Isn't it nice that something like that can come about from making a film with a flight simulator?
