I never got a map with my copy as well. There is a mod by Captain Cox, Pull Down Pacific Map Mod, here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119026&highlight=mess+hall

Use the manual as a coaster, door jam, etc, etc....
Actually for keyboard commands look in the main directory, it is this file: SH4_Q-Ref_Card_Front,
there is one for shortcuts as well.
