Hello, All...

I am new to SH3 and am looking for some interface mods, especially those that change the gauges. I've found mention of some mods on this forum, but in most cases the downloads are no longer available.

I installed GWX 2.0, but it slowed SH3 to the point that it is unusable so I started over with a fresh install. I'm running on a laptop with a gig of memory and an AMD dual processor. I cleaned out memory and was finally able to run GWX at a decent speed, but then the program just froze up. What I was able to see during my short running life was some very nice gauges that I'd love to install separately.

I have added a few other mods that work well, but I'd love the gauges and floating timer from GWX without adding the whole thing. Is there anywhere where these can be found? In most cases, my searches have come up with a "file not found" error on some file hosting site or another. In other cases, the threads that were mentioned for specific mods were not around anymore.

ALAS! My search has come up empty. Any assistance would be appreciated.

@ EddieL:

We are all in the same boat (even in a IX that's crowded) since the incident with the GWX 2.0 release (I don't know the details so I can't really comment). The site that we all used to use as a mod archive no longer has active links to the old files, only the GWX 2.0 files. So in the meantime, it looks like the forum will be flooded with individual requests for mods, and kind souls may be able to accomodate such requests by posting to a more temporary site like filefront, rapidshare, etc. I don't think we have a real alternative yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's a drag for those of us who cannot run GWX for one reason or another.
