SH3Cmdr freeze

Hi all,

ever since GWX2, I can't use SH3Cmdr anymore. I did an uninstall and fresh install of both - when I click 'Launch SH3' the program freezes at 'Copying U-Boat files to SH3' when I select single mission or crew config files when I select a new career. It's impossible to terminate the process (tried killing it through the task manager), I have to restart.

When I start SH3Cmdr afterwards, I can click the rollback button (but not much happens - as not much was changed). SH3 runs fine when not started through SH3Cmdr. I also replaced the configuration files of SH3Cmdr with those that came with GWX2.

The weird thing is, it works just fine in windows safe mode - it continues the launch. I use Windows XP Pro SP2.

Does anyone have any clue as to what might be going wrong, or what I could try to fix this? :)

Do you have malfunctions\sabotage enabled ?
If so try without

Anything else adding into SH3commander ?
Markings pack or skin pack ?
If so disable as not compatable

No malfunctions/sabotage, no other files... but a reinstall of SH3 Commander seems to have fixed the problem for now. Strange :).

I can only speak for myself and what's worked for me.

As with vanilla and GW & GWX & GWX2.0 All useing SHCommander you need to go as far as to click map to get a mission grid .

When it finish's loading click save and exit and SH3 Commander will have info like : Name, u-boat # and type and year campain started and so on...

I think it needs this info to generate. It has always and still works this way for me.
