I'm surprised it took them this long to figure out no one was even using it anymore.

Ah the old memories of Netscape before it went to crap.
The days where you HAD to put a mountain of extra HTML to insure you had a page that kinda worked on both IE and Netscape.
Fast forward and FF/IE8 will finally accept web standards! Putting an end to near decades of this junk.
Netscape really had a good run and set the scene for a rebirth of the way people viewed the internet.
My hope is this time that FF3 and IE8 will put a bigger dent in the botnet potential. I want these botnets taken out!

I tried Netscape 8 and it was buggy as hell, totally slowed down my pc and websites would take ages to load, thought i might of caught a virus but as soon as i delete it, pc was back to normal.

May Netscape RIP. That was the first browser I ever used. The last good browser of theirs I used was 7.2. After that I went to Firefox. I know 7.2 was basically Firefox. That's why I like Firefox so much.
