View Full Version : Bugs in GWX 2 ?

Here are two strange effects that occurred after starting playing a new carrier with GWX2

1. Loaded torpedoes disappear from their tubes without any notice or reason (the tube is found empty)

Through SH3commander I did have the "malfunctions + sabotage" turned on but it never happened with GWX 1.03 before. Also, when this happened to me, I did turn this module off, but it keeps happening.





2. Suddenly, there are no more sound commands.


I've checked all the game settings – all is correct but I can't hear the talk.

I do hear the other sounds: The wind, the sea, the whispering.





Just the command voices are missing.



I did have them in English, converted them to German.

They both sounded OK at the time. But since this bag happened I set back to English with no success.

Btw, the "no voices" effect persist also with single mission


Does anyone have an idea about these two strange effects?

Unless you have the right files to go with SH3 commander all kinds of screwy things could happen.

Make sure you have them, click the link to the GWX homepage in my signature and grab em!

Did you adjust the TC settings in SH3commander ?
Voices gone after that if so ?

Reset TC settings if thats the case

I would also suggest you go into the ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\sound file and make sure the files are OK. If not, you might need to reinstall these files. When you converted the files did you use MP3 or ogg compression?
