Hi,

Any idea on the best skipping method ?

Let me explain..

I want to try to do the whole GWX2 war, with a reasonable ammount of patrols, not a leave of 2 weeks, then it takes ages to get progress, but I feel 2 or 3 months may be a bit too long.
With the SH3 commander, one can set a random, or a fixed number of days on shore before the next patrol begins. I tend to do DID, so I am cautious, reluctant, and try to make as much tonnage as possible, but be safe to life thru the war.
In GWX 1.x I reached 1942, but started in 1939 with GWX 2.

So, whats your opinions? not wanting to do 100 missions, but lets say 20 or so? should be an easy answer, 5 years devided by 20 gives us 4 months, but then one misses to much events I think.
Or should I use the manual and time the patrols?

Suggestions meine herrn?

If you're worried about missing events you could have a look at this http://files.filefront.com/Scripted+Campaigns+GWX+20doc/;9291780;/fileinfo.html

Made today, it's the games scripted campaigns arranged chronologically and makes it a bit easier to plan ahead.

With 'Realistic Career Length' set, SH3 Commander will retire you after 6-8 patrols.

Congrats on post #12000 Sailor Steve...

I was retired after my first patrol having sunk over 70k tons and the Hood, and I did NOT have realistic career checked..

You can revive your career and continue though..

After a patrol like that, you're the hero of the entire Reich! They can't afford to have you lost at a later date.

You can revive your career and continue though..
