i cant find anyway to edit the controls in game. i want to remap the time compression keys as my lappo does not have a keypad. (off to the falklands very soon - need this game to work lol) its to much of a pain to keep clicking on the + compression button in game esp when atr start of a patrol (radar contacts...) any help is great. thanks.

The only controls you can remap are in the "\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Cfg\commands.cfg file. Not all commands are available for tweaking.

I would ask what's wrong with using the already available key commands:
Numpad +
Numpad -
for TC?

You'll find these on the keyboard chart for the game.

Julius_Heide Look at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=117517 . It is an application to map commands to keys. It should take care of setting those commands to whatever keys you want to use.

And welcome to subsim:arrgh!:

He said his laptop did not have a keypad.

Laptops have key combos which emulate the numpad with existing keys. It's usually a Fn (function+key) combo. They are often colored differently like blue or green.
