Graphic card setting help

Got a new graphic card and monitor for my birthday and I'm having problems getting the correct settings for SH3.

I have a Nvidea GeForce 7800GS, using the latest drivers and a Samsung 226BW and have been having a hard time getting the settings adjusted.

Any ideas on what would be causing the "colored bands" on the above screen, it seems that any of the "dark" areas of the game, night time clouds and relections and underwater views look strange. Day time views are ok.

Any ideas welcome. TIA

Cant make out ya lines in ya pic but one quick way out is to install a earlier/previous driver release and see what happens

Dosnt always work but have found Nv updates sometimes a backward step
