Quick return to harbor?

Hello all, first time poster here. I'm loving the game so far, it gets pretty intense! My only small beef so far that's come up on my second patrol is returning to harbor. For some reason, TC is only working up to about 1024, after that it slows down so bad there isnt any gain in time. So I'm looking at a half hour real time trip back to Pearl. I was using up to the max TC previously, and it worked fine. Is there a quick return option for getting back to port once you're in "friendly" (as friendly as they get) waters? Thanks!

First off welcome to the forums !

If you have a 'modest' system your kind of stuck with this Im afraid.

Its still faster to go to a higher TC and just live with the stutters. Do so in the map mode.

Its alot worse around ports and or convoys it might smooth out in a little while.

Keep an eye open for aircraft and look out you dont run aground while warping about the ocean. :smug:
