I understand the Utopias is terrible as opinioned by someone I trust to know what they are talking about, but I'd still like a sip. The other two I know of no one that has tried them.

This stuff is great and I highly recommend it: http://www.shadowmatrix.net/yuengling.jpg

Also good from my area of the world:

At about 8% this stuff gets you lit pretty good. Better yet when they make the Aniversary Ale in the summer months at 11%, I start feeling them on number 3. So if you want to come to Cleveland to see the USS Cod you can go to the brewery, eat and get pissed and then go to the Cod and sink some siampans.

Lager however - I'll pass. Bottom fermented beers = headache in a bottle. I only drink top fermented beers. I think it has to do with the way it ferments. Seems all bottom fermented beers are a reciepe for a hangover. The strange thing is, any top fermented beer and you can drink almost as much as you want and avoid a hangover completely??? Go figure... You will still get dehydrated from drinking a lot of beer, regardless of how it is fermented. This is one thing you can't get away from - a symptom of drinking too much alc.

Nah, you won't get a headache from Yuengling. It is great, it's made in PA and a buddy of mine went to Grove City College there and introduced me to it and I have drank it ever since. I have to buy it out of state because stupid Budweiser has a monopoly here on things. I promise, you never will get a hangover on that stuff....its great. It is a very light lager, almost a pilsner beer really.

:lol:What is that for a Swastika? They didn't even put a swastika on it! I guess that lets you know it wasn't brewed back when Hitler was in power. I mean, if you are going to put Hitler on your bottle, it better damn well be historically accurate.

The beer was bought for me by my friend on his recent trip to Italy.
Rumour has it , they produce Duce version too.
I was`nt bothered about the svastika - it still make interesting item on my shelve.

BTW it is more cross rather than the svastika. :hmm:

I hate historical inaccuracies. I'm not fond of Hitler, but what I think that bothers me more is that people want to stamp out true history.

Last I heard, even Japan was changing their textbooks to make it look like Japan wasn't all that bad in WWII. Pathetic.
