Visual damage limits

I know it's been asked before, but i just cant find the post
so
is there any way to remove the limit of visual damage

like right now , you can only get 5 (i think)
holes in the ship with the deck gun
and it would be cool to be able to see all of them
specially because i use them to adjust fire

I know its just useless eye candy, but it's annoying to put 100 rounds on a ship
and only see 5 small holes.

I would like to know that too. I can however get more than five holes from deckgun shots. But torpedo hits are almost always limited to one. Sometimes it doesnt show at all...

The max I've seen is 3 torpedo holes in a ship, haven't counted DG shell holes. All those damage textures might slow the game down a bit though.
