All components of Silent Hunter III have been removed from my hard drive and I have re-installed a clean version patched to 1.4b.

awaiting availability of GWX 2.0!!!

from what i have heard it will come in an installer package. but i dont know for sure.Correct there is an installer package so it is very easy to modify as long as your patched SHIII install is in a fit state. (The installer will check for that as well).

As to Balz, I'm sure a Warrior of his stupendous abilities will Happily do it all over again, from the humble beginnings in a IID through to the Glorious Victories in a IXc :D

It's a sort of Valhalla thing, go off to fight all day, and at the end lots of drink and carousing..and the next day, do it all over again, and again ad aeternam...:hmm:

U-49 hereby formally states it's battle readiness:

HD cleaned, fresh SH3 and patch v14b installed
chistmas holidays cancelled, all hands assembled in harbour, coffee machine serviced and coffee supplies replenished.
Phonelines cut, harbour darkened and last shipyard tests perfomed.

U-49 is ready for combat action!

- Coffee machine has been fixed
- Bernard has been locked up in the aft torpedo room until 2.0 is installed. (to avoid any "accidents")
