Hello chaps,

Been having a fine old time with GWX... Just one question though, what is the name of the piece of music used as the menu music? And can I get it from anywhere?

Regards,
Pathfinder.

Actually, we were mistaken for some time... In the new GWX 2.0 manual that we released the other day:

• Main menu: “Hanging” from Plunkett and Macleane, composed by Craig Armstrong

"Escape" by Craig Armstrong is the bit that plays on our website now. The two are similar. One is slow, the other fast.:D

RTF(Correct)M!!! :p (Just givin' ya a hard time.)

always a technicality... :nope:

i actually did notice that there were two different versions of the song, one a more classical piece and the other a bit more techno-esque. but i didnt point it out for fear of creating confusion within the ranks.

personally, i prefer the classical version which is used in GWX.

if you dont mind me asking Herr Lehmann... were there any other main screen music considerations?

runner ups if you will which the team had considered using instead of this one... or did you just know which one you wanted from the beginning of the project?

Yesterday we were treated to severa; goodies: GWX webbie and GWX trailer with great music. And the new GWX manual, which must be kept on the center of the boat for balance and trim tanks adjusted for weight. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i have a trailer with the same music as a intro with some in game action.

i think that it was made from ubi or perhaps some flotilla, i´m not sure, before sh3 was released.

love the GWX menu music, just makes you feel a little bit more a part of some bigger thing.

however, totally not digging the
"i l-l-love you so's" and the "its foolish but its fun's"
it gets on my nerves when you hear that in the middle of a depth-charge attack
i know what youre thinking...then delete the verdammte song!
i respond by sayng
then how am i supposed to not have fun in GWX?;)

the only time ill listen to them is when im within range of america during paukenschlag

why would you be playing that during a depth charge attack? :rotfl:
