Hi,
Just getting into SH IV big time now. I'm experimenting with the Saipan Mission in 1944 and trying to get a handle on the Radar Scopes. The PPI is easy enough but is there a way to train or "aim" the A-Scope? You can set it to sweep but if you take it off sweep is there a way to train the radar to a specific bearing? I tried the keys for the Hydrophones but they just raise or lower my view. Am I doing something wrong or can you not manually train the radar antenna?
thanks,
Kevin

The A-SCope is simply a different way of displaying the information from the SJ Radar. It's an earlier type of display and was not as easy to use as the PPI, which displays the image in a more intuative way.:know:

Home/End keys and the scroll whell on the mouse both rotate the radar.
The bearing indicator is on the wall above the radar, but unfortunately the camera limitations don't allow you to see much of it. Instead you can look to the right on the PPI and use the A-scope to get a better view of whats out there.
