Which airs this sunday at 9pm est
I noted a particular title was conspicuous by its absence.
Although I havent seen an offical list of nominees I would think SH4 would at least get a mention.
By the way, even it if doesent it still gets my vote ! besides this show is not excactly 'credible'.

Spike TV itself isn't exactly credible, LOL, considering the daily, seemingly non-stop CSI and mindless (also seemingly non-stop) Ultimate Fighting programming. They must be saving a bundle on actual schedule programming etc!!!
The "Video Awards", I think, will be aimed at the lowest common denominator, aka: the Console Crowd so I wouldn't expect a "thinking man's game" :know: to be anywhere on any of their lists (not that I'm against a little runnin' and gunnin' now and again), LOL.;)
Sorry, did that come across as "anti-console"? .......Good, nyuk nyuk nyuk!!! ;)

Games like SH4 have way to small of a following to be considered for this. Like tomoose said, these awards will go to mainly the Console system games with a few nods to games like World of Warcraft and others like that. Just my 2 cents.

Actually they have seperate catagorys one for pc games another for consoles.
Im thinking that SH4 should have at least got a mention. SH3 did.

Games like Halo and Halflife get these awards. More than likely based on sales. The usual indicators of a good game. Then there is 'us' who really know a good game such as the SH series.

Exactly  It's like X-Play, if they give the game a crappy review, rush out and go buy it :yep:

no apologies necessary! I noted that Spike had a countdown on the screen leading up to the show (a tad of overhype).
Judging by your comment you saw some of it? Fiasco? Was it that bad?:-?

Yes I did watch some of it. I was actually looking foward to it but I can only handle so much flagerant inuendo, informercial, celebrity loving, america bashing, and Samuel Jackson. I eventually turned it off and went to Discovery channel.
It was more like a music video MTV show with video game trailers and a few awards tossed in because they had to.

Yeah, it figures. All flash, no bang! MTV? I'm suddenly nauseous, LOL.
Having said that, isn't it time for yet another award show glut on TV? (Emmy's, Oscars, Globes, People's Choice, MTV, Music awards, Tony's, Grammies, etc ad naaauuseeummmm!);) My cup runneth over.............................NOT!!!
Yeah. It seems the entertainment industry is really good at patting themselves on the back.
