deckgun and radarfitting question

I am wondering about the deckguns...I have seen that atleast the Balao (in the SH4 museeum) can have two guns. one bow and one stern. But I cannot find how to mount them that way when playing. Have anyone heard of this and/or done it?

The second question is about loadout too. I have seen that there are a more powerful radar, I am not sure but I think its called sd-j. But when I select it it says that I cannot install it on my sub. I have a Balao...which is the best you can have, right?! what do I need to be able to install it?

Not sure about the deck guns, but regarding the radar:

SD is air search radar. When installed your crew will notify you of plane contacts well before they get into visual range.

SJ is the surface search radar. It is the one that you see at the radar staion in your sub.

A Balao can certainly have both kinds or radar, since they should both be available that late in the war. They do cost some "Renown" points though. If you don't have enough Renown, it may not be letting you install them.

I do have both types of radar...but the one I meant was a better-than-improved sd (or was it SJ? I am a bit unsure, will check when I get home) radar. I could be wrong about the name as I said before. I have the renown but even though I remove the existing sd/sj radar (improved SD/SJ radar) I cannot install the new one. it tells me something like; "you cannot install this" or "your sub cannot install this".

If you have seen it I think you know what I mean.
