Crew stuck in low detail mode?

It seems that after I installed 1.4 my crewmen are stuck in low detail mode. Even if I slide the slider all the way to the right they dont change.

Anyone else notice this?

How do you know they are in low detail mode? Have you tried re-starting the sim after moving the slider and exiting?

The texture of their clothing seems less detailed than before. I'll dig up some screenshots.
