why is this happening after patch 1.4

im getting this screen now after i downloaded and did a fresh install of sh4 with the new patch,as you can see,the other is not happening to all of the men,well you can see the men in the back.

Have not seen this before, all patched up and everything seems to be working fine. Someone else may be able to offer more on this. Enlarged

It looks like one the the early Hud Mods, jimimadrid's I think. That may be the prob.

Ok, my goal is not to say you are using anything, but isnt this part of the copyprotection against no-cd patches? As I remember seeing this since the 1.0. AFAIK, there was some cases of the CP activating on perfectly legal .exe's too, so you just might be one of the unlucky ones.

Maybe a dev can give a clarification on this.

Disable that mod and see if you're characters come back in the flesh. Other possibility, your crew members are so scared of you, they've decided not to show their faces for fear of being identified and punished!

ROW might be the issue. Leo has not worked out the changes as yet. The scene.dat file is causing some problems. Remove the mod until Leo can look at it. Basically you can keep some of ROW working. The sound mod, sky/ocean texture mods work/camera mod. I have noticed since the new patch I get more flashes just like the first day the game came out. Again, this might be related to the ROW mod.

Definitley disable the SKY and OCEAN CONTROL mod that is part of ROW. Apparently this is the issue for the 1.4 patch.

Yes, try disabling these mods and see how it looks. 1.4 is still fresh and many mods may work, may not cause a CTD, but may do stuff such as the above.
