Been looking forward to this movie ever since I heard they were shooting it. I have books about the guy all over my house! Incidentally, there are quite a few 'making of' films about it kicking around on the 'net, they're worth a look too.

I've heard about that film. Looks really good and should be quite a ride.

One question I've had though, will it be released in the United States?

I have been looking forward to this one too. Hopefully there will be subtitles or compatibility with one of those subtitle/translation programs for DVD's. I was impressed to see the wide variety of aircraft in one of the trailers (SPADS, Sopwiths, etc) unlike "Flyboys", which had way too many Nieuports and Triplanes.

Plus, although I am from the US it will be interesting to see a European director take on a WWI film. At times the excessive emphasis on American characters in films like "Flyboys" and "U-571" can be irritating.

You mean the US wasn't the central figure in WWI?:hmm: :rotfl: I just hate the over the top scenes with hollywood characters.
