Help with 1.4 upgrade

Loaded 1.4. got into careers menu- its started- when black screeen " please wait"

I waited for a awhile, found out Warning message: menu ID is not found
0x3020001.

reistalled SH4 twice. with No luck.

how can I fix it. or go back to 1.3..

Hi GG5056, did you re-install over the top of an existing install or did you De-install/reboot/install/reboot/patch/reboot/play.

i now the above in tedeas and time consuming but it also will get around a lot of these types of issues.

if you did try it all agian but use the 1.3 patch to see if the same happens, if it is ok with 1.3 try downloading the 1.4 patch from somewhere else as this would indicat that the patch was corrupted.
