Hi,

I am just wondering how to take screenshots in SH4. I know how to take screenshots with other games and I know how to use other progams to capture screens. But sometimes I want to take a screenshot and I realize that I dont have the progam running...and alt+tab dont work well with my SH4 installation...

So; is there a built-in command for screenshots?

Uh, it ain't dumb. If you don't know, you don't know. It's CTRL + F11. The shots are saved in your SH4 folder, which should be in the Ubisoft folder, which is in the Program Files folder. If you get some good ones, you wanna share, use imageshack to host them.

Good luck

Thanks! very fast response! I will try it when I get home from work. Strange that they couldnt write that in the manual or something like that...

You're welcome!

Yeah, no kidding! I guess that's why we're up to a Patch 1.4 with this thing!!

Check the documentation folder inside the install directory.

You should find the manual & key card. Where the key combos are listed.

Thanks danlisa....its just that I thought that I had done that...but maybe I was just looking it through too fast. I just came to think about it when a saw the screenshots thread and thought that intead of finding the shortcut card I could just ask.

There is help in the game for the shortcuts (press F1)
that got a whole lot better in the add-on.

When you are posting your shots here, remember to covert them to j-pegs :yep::up:

Oh my god! I can't belive this was there the whole time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
And it ust goes to show that our teachers were right. If you feel like you need to ask a question, there's probably a bunch more people who need the answer too. :)

Does the screenshot remove all the UI stuff, or is there a key to hide it? Also, can I remove the UI while in-game? Just for when I want to enjoy the view.

Hit the del key or the " . ", this removes the hud, hit it again to get it back.

Another good thing to do with screenies is to convert them into jpeg instead of bitmap.

Quicker load ups.;)
