What mods

Now slowly getting to grips with SH4 I would like to add some of the mods but looking through whats available I got lost with it all. I liked the look of the reflections on the water thread but got confused with all the variations and don't really know which ones to download.

What mods do you all use and do you go for realism or eye candy?

first i would install JSGME which is a mod enable which saves you alot of work,i'm using living breathing ocean,captain cox radio progams,better leaks,trigger maru,hardcore torpedoes,best thing to do is try them and the ones you don't like you can remove,also i do manual navigation i go for realism more than i do eye candy.

Yes it can get confuseing. As for me I use JSGME Mod Installer.

So with ROW installed I use the latest TM 1.6 sometimes and then uninstall TM and install RSRD so I get the best of both worlds.

You HAVE to read the README real close BUT both are compatible with ROW now.

Hi, sorry for the delay but thanks for the advice.
I have installed JSGME and what I thought were compatable mods but it crashes every now and then.
I have just noticed the 1.4 patch is out so will install that and wait for the time being with the other mods I think.

A wise decision considering the flurry of activity that is going on right now to insure the mods work correctly with 1.4.... :up:
