Publications International, Ltd. (PIL), a general-interest publisher based in Morton Grove, IL, is looking for a consultant for a one-time, quick-turnaround project.
In 1991, PIL published "Undersea Warriors: Submarines of the World." This year, through our agreement with HowStuffWorks.com, we will be reprinting the book online. However, we need to update the book's information first.
If any of you have experience or specialty in modern military weaponry or vehicles, we are looking for a consultant to evaluate how up-to-date the book is, and what would be needed to update. No content writing is necessary for this project...only an outline of recommended additions.
Consultant Initial assessment: The consultant should evaluate how much information needs to be added to cover the years 1992-2007, focusing on significant developments in military use of submarines, and whether any recent submarines merit their own write-up. Any new material should be kept to a minimum. An outline of recommended additions, including an estimated word count, should be submitted for approval.
