help with patch 1.0 to 1.4

i recently downloaded sh3 from D2D. when i try to install the 1.4 patch i get a msg: the program cannot update the installed version of silent hunter 3 us download v1.0 to 1.3 because of the following reason, C:\program files\ubisoft\silenthunterIII\data\menu\en_menu.tx t: unknown version.

Yes, exactly the same one. Have you used SH3 Commander with v1.3? If so, there are a large number of files which SH3 Commander has modified (including en_menu.txt). Rolling back SH3 Commander, and then installing the 1.4b patch solved the problem for me.
