You might be interested in the OFFICIAL Tactics Manual. Must have been pretty good since it was published in 1917 and not declassified until 1972. :lol: Contains some diagrams. Follow the link below. I'll also post this under its own heading here and at the UBI Forum. I'm sure others will be interested.

Nice link. Not sure why it took so long to be declassified though since this document was created by the British Navy Anti-Submarine Division and shared with the US Navy in December of 1917. It basically deals with German U-Boat tactics during WW1.

Are you kiddin'? They're still trying to unclassify documents left over from the Lincoln administration. Usual government competence. Once ONI, always ONI.
