You might be interested in the OFFICIAL Tactics Manual. Must have been pretty good since it was published in 1917 and not declassified until 1972. :lol: Contains some diagrams. Follow the link below. Nice link. Not sure why it took so long to be declassified though since this document was created by the British Navy Anti-Submarine Division and shared with the US Navy in December of 1917. It basically deals with German U-Boat tactics during WW1.

Are you kiddin'? They're still trying to unclassify documents left over from the Lincoln administration. Usual government competence. Once ONI, always ONI.
