Last week Trinity college performed a 15 lateral play to score the go ahead TD with no time remaining. Here's the coach explaining how (http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1243727174/bctid1293598758)the player was set up.
Amazing! Here's the full play. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=z7oF4ZDigjM)

Oh, man, and here I looked expecting to read about some new piece of theater.
:damn:
:rotfl:
Actually, the "most sensational, incredible ending..." pretty much sums it up; that was spectacular!
Oh, a question: was that 'playbook' sequence real, or did they just improvise and make the 'playbook' after the fact?

I don't know, I would have to believe they scripted this play to some degree but the playbook sequence they recorded was embellished. It would have to be, I think...:hmm:

Did really all the team players agree on what kind of sports they were playing?

What impressed most about that play was the 20 year-old kid up in the booth calling it on college radio. He managed to accurately describe the play and pretty much keep his composure while everyone around him in the booth was flipping out.

Sorry but it lacks the smoothness and free-flowing speed and excitement of a fast AFL match..

for saying it looks like it was executed haphazardly and god-awfully!
It looks like there was nothing but sheer luck involved in them keeping the ball alive for as long as they did, there were fumbles which were fortunately caught, it looked messy as a babies nappy! Might as well have been watching tennis for the backwards and forwards movement!
I'll even go so far as to say that it wasnt well done! but, i'll quantify it by saying i dunno what is good or bad in NFL - as an outsider, it looks shockin!! Dont send me to the brig bossman!:rotfl: I'll never disagree with you again!
