I say a simple prayer for our fathers, our fathers fathers, our sons and daughters, sisters and brothers.

My god protect them and keep them safe.

My deepest gratitude for their selfless sacrifices, hard work, and dedication.

(Bows head and prays silently)...

A great Uncle in Patton's 3rd Army, 2 Uncles in Da Nang, 1 in the South China Sea. All served, all came home safely. 2 Generations of my family served. Prayers go out to all who served, past and present, with us, and no longer with us.

Ditto

Maybe we missed the post altogether.

Maybe we were abducted by aliens and had strange experiments performed on us.

Maybe we were busy making our signatures smaller;)

I've posted one in the General forum. Thank you steam wake for the post in here. I just was on the phone with my Grandfather before, he is a fellow Veteran. He was a fighting CEEBEE from WW2. I sure do miss spending a lot of time with him.

While I missed this post, I did observe Rememberance day.

At 11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month.

We will remember them.
