After loading NSM I found that our subs sink easely. I was a parascope debth lining up on a Light Crusier when a destroyer ran over me. I had flooding in the control room and several other things dammaged. I was making my escape after firing the last torpedo and I had the floodng under control and I went to 150 Feet No Visible leeks so I thought I was ok for that debth. Well I was for about 5 min. Then all hadies broke loose and I have breeches everywere and I ordered an emergancy surface. Well I didnt make it there. The flooding was bad enough to sink me. It seems for me anyway that NSM has solved the problem with colisions. The destroyer didnt sink.

A huge thumbs up for WernerSobe!!! Not only did he make one of the premier mods with Natural Sinking Mechanics, but he derailed leovampire from Die Slowly version 37,569. In disgust, leo merely recreated the entire environment so well his work is included in the new add-on! Now I can't sink any ships because I'm always on deck admiring sunrises, looking at the waves, checking out the stars....

But if I ever do get around to sinking something, it will do so with grace and artistry courtesy of Werner's work!

Does anybody else perceive an instance of perfect justice and revenge here?:rotfl:

When the sub is starting to flood, :damn: :damn: :damn: it is better to stay near the surface (80-90 feet) :hmm: until repairs are done. I know that you are trying to escape, but if you run slow speed and follow a course away from the dds  you will usually achieve your objective.:arrgh!:
