Torpedo loadout problem

Hello,
I am at the Uboat upgrade screen and I'm loading my torpedoes to my liking, however, when I go to start the mission, my torpedo loadout is not what I had initially had loaded. It's not even the default loadout. I'm not sure what is going on? Any advice is helpful. thanks

I finished a mission, gave a uboat front clasp to my navigator and started a patrol. I decided that I would rather give it to my weapons officer instead, so I did a complete shutoff on my computer. I went back to load career, and I chose In Base After mission and gave the front clasp to my wep's officer and loaded the torpedoes normally and thats when my problems started. Now I cannot get the loadout I want when the mission starts?

This is very troublesome.

The torpedo loadout has to be done while on the U-Boat screen for upgrading. Once you have what you want, leave base without shutting exiting. Oh, you must start, using SH3 Commander and have it launch the game. Then click on the U-Boat while in base and do the above.

When doing that, I have the torpedo load I selected, then I click on the map and start my patrol. Once I'm out of port, I then save my game. When I loaded the game back up, my torpedoes are the same as I chose.

I'll try that. Before I messed with shutting off the computer to give the Front Clasp to the Weps, my loadout had no problems. I wonder if that had something to do with it?
If I do a specific loadout, and exit the game altogether, then load up via SH3CDR, my loadout defaults back to the original. I have to change the loadout back to my preference.
When I do that and go to the map and start, the loadout is different. This never happened before. It is not even the default loadout. Maybe I should do a patrol with what I'm given, then things will go back to normal.

I will try the save out of port and see if that works, though

edit: it's dec. 15 1942 and I doubt they are shy on torpedoes just yet... I dont think this has anything to do with it.

I had the same problem.
Finish the patrol with what you have. Then, load the torpedoes just before clicking on the map for next patrol. Go out , at least 40 kms. and save when you want.

Right now Im on patrol with what they gave me when I started the patrol, a mixed blessing of T1 and T2. I saved and loaded and I have the same torpedoes.
I'm going to finish the patrol and then try to choose torpedoes and leave base 40k and save and load.
Hopefully this isnt persistant.
