Why can I not turn the Hydrophone?

Why can I not sometimes turn the Hydrophone? But sometimes I can turn it.The Hydrophone is not malfunction.

are you clicking on the hydrophone wheel to use it ?

try clicking on the needle on the dial - hold down the left click and move it this way. your icon pointer should turn orange; it is then you can move the needle or wheel.

dont't forget to check your volume is up each time too ! - ambient volume.

The needle on the dial and the wheel,I tried them all ,but it is alway malfunction. But sometimes I reload the career mission ,it became natural.

Are the other dials in the hydrophone station at the 12 o'clock position. I think its a game bug. It always happened to me on my first patrol. I think there is a fix, but I'm not sure.

patch 1.4b+raceboy's sh4 effect to sh3,and modified the gun can fire in rain,>5m/s wind speed.

I had a similar problem. I could not hear and ships, but when I went to 180 I could hear my own boat. I went to Game Shadow and down loaded what they had and it no longer occurs.

Had the same problemas. It was not untill I upgraded my sub the problem disapared.
Unfortunatlly my sonar man i def and cant hear jack s**t unless I point it out to him wich is very annoying.
