The first major piece of work for Deep Six has been completed, with enough sideline excursions from which other pieces of fiction have evolved. They include the History of the World, local industries, documentation for the war, and, the introduction of at least one set of villains. They all contain enough non-playing characters (NPC’s); or series characters, from which future adventures can be created.

Not familar with any of this. What is this about ?:)
We're slow, but still making progress....
Here's a little screenshot - there are more in the Indie Games Forum, getting more put up to the new website as well:
Sub and Corvette, transparency and reflections (transparency has been fixed to not make the object brighter under the surface since this was taken).

No weapons on anything in this shot either...
post questions here, or on the deep six forums, we'll do our best to answer them.

I'm liking the colour of the water there.
more like Chinese coastal waters...I like this one myself...

:ahoy:
I was asked this question regarding games like D6 and Enigma. I immediately began to defend the members here, but I realized I couldn't really answer that; my bias kept getting in the way.
What is the interest in a ship/sub game like Deep Six here at Subsim?
It is purely a game, very much not a sim; of course it isn't Navy Field either; Simple, direct action; team deathmatch in subs and ships at its finest really.
So is this the wrong ocean (meaning subsim, not the water in the above picture...) for such a casual game?

Nah, go with it. I like it. Could be a bit darker, though.
