you go right ahead and vote for obaba or clinton  all they will do is send mroe of your tax money to israel and to fund their foreign escapades, while you lose your job due to outsourcing to china or illegal immigrants... if course you would only say that because you obviously dont know that the US is on the verge of bankruptcy:nope:
you want to see how much you and your country owes in terms of $$$??

His name sounds too much like RuPaul... http://www.rupaul.com/gallery/index.shtml
Though, I just got back off the road from a Florida run and I saw quite a few "Ron Paul for President" posters... But then, that's Florida... ;)

I will. Since I owe none of the debt you describe, I own everything outright, and I highly doubt I will ever be unemployed for more than a few months, and I don't plan to vote for Obama or Clinton, what's your point? I don't seem to follow your American model as you lay it out. I make my own model. One forum member did call me a sheep once though! :D Maybe he was mistaken...??? :p

"It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has
been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1,
Public Law 89-719; declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and
insolvent. H.J.R. 192, 73rd Congress m session June 5, 1933 - Joint
Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause
dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official
capacities of all United States Governmental Offices, Officers, and
Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal
Government exists today in name only."

That's...presumptive.
He's got the strongest online presence, strong individual fundraising, and large support fom military voters.
I wouldn't like to see him as President, but he's far from a nobody.

Ron Paul is good on money, taxes, and finance issues and that is about it. His views on the middle east and foreign policy are horrible and he has embraced the conspiratorial fringe of truthers, anti-semetic "Israel runs the USA" and other folks like that. He may have a strong online presence and individual fundraising but so did Howard Dean.
elite_hunter_sh3
11-01-07, 04:43 PM
err maybe its because they do.. who went to Iraq and afghanistan, who is making money off this war, Israeli corporations that make weapons for the U.S, the only reason the middle east is so riddled with America hating terrorists is because america and George Bush Sr. decided that the US will police the world, attacking whoever they felt like attacking at the time...and besides Israel has 200-300 nuclear weapons, im sure they could defend themselves agaisnt civilians with small arms.. i wonder why they need a few hundred thousand american troops and hundreds of billions of dollars for...:shifty:

I wouldn't like to see him as President, but he's far from a nobody.Lets put it this way - McCain has a better chance and he will never make it either. The stage is set long before next year - you have 1 of 4 choices and those are Guilliani, Thompson, Obama, and Hairy. One of those 4 will be your next pres, and I consider two of them a disaster, and at least one of the other two only marginal.

so why vote for the 4 morons??? :rotfl:
vote for someone who actually WANTS to fix the U.S, not become filled with greed and want more executive powers...(well they already are...)

Hillary has no chance. She destroyed herself on the MSNBC debate with her inability to be honest and answer a question. Of course she will still be the nominee but despite all that the pro-clinton media and polling are telling the average uninformed american she is unelectable due to her negatives. She has the highest negatives of any candidate in history. Then you get these clinton apologists who write articles on how she will get the women vote and Republican women will vote for her. I have asked women I know and I work with if they would vote for her and they all say one thing "Hell no!".

Thompson. About as perfect a candidate as anyone could ask for. Guilliani definetly not - he is a democrat by the nations eyes. Obama and Hairy are communists. Only one choice in my opinion.

Can't we do "None of the above" again?
I don't seem to like what either side of the fence is offering.

I would tell you the word that describes how completely absurd this is, but it hasn't been invented yet.

Barack Obama for the win...
Hiliary has no chance in hell of winning. They'll rig the elections. He might be black, but she's a woman, and they'll only stick with men, despite the color of their skin.
Mike Huckabee is at least a sensible person, but the Republicans are just one big boy scout troop, each covering their own back. All the same, sadly.

$2,500,000 Raised in 17 hours !!!!! :rock::rock::rock:
from a news article
"One web site reports that Ron Paul went from relative obscurity to a double digit lead after the first Republican debate in an MSNBC online poll. Jim Capo reports “Now in 2007, Ron Paul comes along last week and gives by most accounts of honest grassroots Americans the best performance in the first televised debate between GOP presidential contenders. Exclusively broadcast by MSNBC, Ron Paul led MSNBC’s post election poll from start to finish with nearly a double digit margin over his nearest challenger Mitt Romney. An even more crushing defeat of the rest of the pack occurred in an ABC News poll which at first had been posted on-line with only nine names on it — Ron Paul’s being the one missing. Irate Paul supporters who complained in the poll’s comment section at first saw many of their posts ominously deleted — some no doubt for language, others for editorial discretion bordering on the c word (censorship). After someone posted in the comment’ thread the cell phone number of a Senior VP at ABC News, the Paul name was added to the poll.”
Admittedly the first Republican debate had a small audience. Most people have gotten sick of the “lock step” Republican support for the Iraq War and didn’t watch the debate assuming the candidates would be all the same. Most Americans didn’t know Ron Paul wants us out of Iraq. Still, it’s extremely significant that Ron Paul could jump ahead of the entire field based on a single performance. It also proves that the two biggest issues in 2007 are immigration and getting out of Iraq. Ron Paul is on the right side of both of these issues while the other Republicans (except for Tancredo on immigration) are falling short. If anyone can gain a great deal of momentum through the debate process, it’s Ron Paul. "
If you really want to see what Americans thought of Ron Paul, the best indications are the opinion polls after the debates. The first opinion poll had over 90,000 votes. Ron Paul won that poll by a big margin.

I tend to be a tad worried about Ron Paul (I'm not for or against him, but my non-trusting side riles up when I see stuff like this):
Decoy Election Websites Pretend to Root for Your Candidate
http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/2007/11/spoof_forums
I did take a look at all of the whois info for FredThompsonForum.com, RudyGiulianiForum.com, MittRomneyforum.com, all "hidden" names but created about the same time, hosted on the same IP (by "ThePlanet", which BTW, is known for their "We don't care about spammers" attitude).
Of course, plausable denyability works wonders these days.
