An absurd story. A laughable story. A story that illustrates to what amount of ritualized behavior and forseeable habits our societies in general and our media in special have already degenerated to.

In germany, a new radio- and TV law is in the makoing, or better, the old system to fiannce it gets revamped. The main benefit is - for political parties. They will gain far more influence over the two main channels. They have voiced dissatisfaction that even a dedicated TV channel, Phoenix, no longer shows much life broadcasting from palimanetyr debates, becaseu people were sich and tired to listen to that show. Now party-propaganda must be stuffed into our throats with force, it seems.

But the FEMA stunt tops everything. their excuse that they gave such a short ntioice that no reporters could manage to arrive in time, is just this: an excuse, but no reason. The proper thing to do would have been to plan for more reaction time, or to call it off. Not to blind the public by having a theatre play.

nuts isn't it...let me guess whose bright idea was this then....yes the "spin doctors"
why because if no one listens to them the spin doctors are out of a job.....can't have that now can we lol..think of the un-employment figures..:rotfl:

the same old reverse logic thinking that is classic "spin doctoring"

take the truth turn it on it's head throw in splash of emotional knee jerk reaction...dumb it down to soap opera level...sell it to the public..

it doesn't make good viewing???
viewing figures not good?
advertisers not wishing to place their advertisments in the programs time slots?

could it be that we never get to hear what the politicians have to say?
because guess who writes the scripts?

the spin doctors in an effort to make an allready fairly "dry" subject matter more entertaining and appealing to the public have in fact achieved the exact opposite..

because spin is allways just spin no matter what channel it's on...so even those viewers who did have an interest in the subject now find that they are just watching grown men and women constantly spout the "spin" written for them by their "media people"...which is not politics

do you know what spin really is??? it is fear of the truth
