I'm considering buying the orange box because their aint no damn option to buy it without HL1 and EP1... So I guess I'll have to give am away too

:yep: and it just became worse, there is region coding in games.
If you buy a legit orange box from far east asia, guess what (if your a wwealthy westerner) ?
Boom your account is closed and you loose all your games.
Way to go Valve, customer satisfaction at its finest. :down:

Oh yes, I was bloody annoyed with Steam too. I wanted to borrow HL2 from a friend to check if it was any good, but guess what? You can't install the ruddy thing on another account (EVEN if you uninstall it on the first) so I had to BUY it, although I didn't know much about the gameplay. Sure, I liked it, and Ornage box is WONDERFUL, but I still don't like the fact that I can't borrow out my games.....

That said, is there NOONE that wants this? I'm having trouble finding anyone who wants. All my mates either have the orange box, or are not interested so....

The games are good, but steam is not.
I would not touch steam with a 10 feet pole though even if that means not getting to play free games. :cry:

I think it's a bit...well I mean....you get them for free mate, it's not as if I'm gonna take a fee every time you log into steam

Biggles don't take it bad, its not the free thing, its steam.
I've had a problem with steam since it became operational, and I've always been against it for a number of reasons.
I'm sure someone else will gladly accept your generous offer. :p

Nobody jumped on this? Well I wouldn't mind having them. I remember playing the HL2 demo years back. I liked it. Never bought it, not sure why.

On a bit of an unrelated note, has anybody played Portal? I'm thinking of getting it.

My disk space is really low now:o. I ordered 'Cossacks Emperor's Edition' from gamestop I don't think it will fit lol. I'm going to have to tidy that drive up. Too many movies/shows saved on it.

I also hate steam, its a worthless piece of crap, only slightly better then stardock's worthless piece of garbarge: Impulse.
